Better Samaritan Institute has become CareGuard institute! The summer of 2020 CareGuard interns are taking big steps to improve patient care early on in treatment. They’ve been learning how a heart of compassion leads to a mindset of constant quality improvement.  To take action, CareGuard is engaging in an extensive project to raise awareness of scoliosis screening across North Carolina and South Carolina. Our goal is that 100% of pediatric patients are screened for scoliosis and followed up into adulthood to prevent harm for the future.
